Agreed, Sandy.
Seward is just as much a hypocrite as Burrell, the only difference is she is a better connected one.
I think, because her late husband Ross Benson went to school with Prince Charles at Gordonstoun, that she feels she is "one of them." Little does she know that the Royal Family and ilk probably view her as a member of the Fourth Estate anyway.

Don't know much about Penny Junor, only that she took Charles' side...

Penny Junor self admittedly started this whole rot about Di being bipolar. She investigated Diana's behaviour and took what she believed to be a dossier detailing why Diana was unstable to a psychiatrist and he came up with bipolar. She was delighted that she had a name for Diana's disease and that's where Dimbleby got all his info on Di as well..So where's the slagging off of them? They've made more money from slagging Di off than Burrell has....and yet no one comes out and says anything abut them.

Paul Burrel has sold out but let's look at why....the man was charged and put on trial for something he didn't do. He faced serious time in jail and the royals were going to let it happen. This man felt, rightly so IMO, that he had been badly treated. I don't think he has said anything in his books that we haven't touched on here. He shouldn't have written anything about his time with Diana but he has...and so what?

If you read his 1st book a majority of it is based on the behind the scenes look of royal service and life.  He does think that he far more important a figure in Di's life than I think he was but most people like to boast and boost their egos by inflating their importance.

People need to get off their highhorses and realise that perhaps Wills and Harry, Charles and the rest of the royal family aren't perfect. They're not living in our reality and sometimes aren't advised very well. That's why I think that Harry in particular has been limited in his support for his mother..yet he's tried.

Wills is the one that I think can't be bothered or doesn't want to upset papa. He's really lost my respect with the way he seems to dislike doing anything resembling charity work or public duties...the boy is spoilt and is becoming just like Charles..now that's the real outrage here. The royals and men in suits have taken someone who had real potential, who was so much like his mother and turned them into his father...bloody shame if you ask me!

Here, here, Wombat ... I particularly agree with the last paragraph.

William looks like his mother but acts like his father imo.

Didn't know it was Penny Junor, thought it was Sallie Bedell Smith who'd started the personality disorder stuff ... not nice of PJ.

PB is a bit tacky with his self-promotion but I think he was relatively harmless toward Diana as far what he wrote in the first book.
William was weak not to come forward before the Trial, the RF handled the whole thing badly.
Yet another case of bad judgment in "handling the real world" ... crappy sycophants, oops I mean, advisors, giving bad counsel ...

I saw an interview with Penny Junor ...she was talking about Diana and Charles and she said she knew there was something about Diana and theat when she investigated further, read some sort of psychiatric book, that she knew it could be a few different things like Bipolar disorder..when she got the green light from the psychatrist she was very happy that finally she knew what was wrong with Diana. She then passed the info onto Johnathon Dimbleby who then wrote about it. Where's the "princes anger" with these two? -_-

i agree with the comments to a point on William, he seems to do what is out about him it seems this way.....i was hoping that they would take a greater developed role and path than their father and somewhat like their mother and then somewhat of a greater role in finding the role define 'as their own making' so to speak.

i agree with this quote very much....i think they took the boys allowed them to be their own bosses and no real care in the day to day things they have done, Charles to busy either with looking good in the public eye and/or Camilla at his side, no real rules, yet rules my the standard of royal life of course, and etc etc.

but apart of me hopes that i am wrong and i hope thats the case.....
